Finding the essence of architecture
In my abstract architectural paintings I try to find the essence of the urban forms that surround us.
It is less about buildings and more about the geometric attraction that arises from shapes, materials, colors, light and shadow.
Even if it's just an angle that I capture and hold at a very specific moment, in very specific lighting conditions.
It gives me the strength to discover the beauty in the otherwise gray, oppressive concrete masses of big cities.
It's about finding beauty where it is not expected or visible.
My pictures want to help people rediscover and learn to love the reality of urban life.
