Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2004 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALEALL LOTS OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE, which included the work Portrait of a girl by Achille Buzzi. It changed hands for a price of USD 298.75 (€ 220.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Achille Buzzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Necklace in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,515.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALEALL LOTS OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a girl von Achille Buzzi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 298,75 (€ 220,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Achille Buzzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Necklace im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.515,85).
