The auction ended at the price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 33,735.92), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdallah Benanteur - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Des Pots et des Bouteilles, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,862.48).
