Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Abdel Wahab Morsi was sold in the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection auction at Bonhams in London in August 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 765.00 (€ 891.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Abdel Wahab Morsi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egyptianuntitled in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,266.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Abdel Wahab Morsi wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 765,00 (€ 891,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abdel Wahab Morsi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egyptianuntitled im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.266,42).
