Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Abdelkébir Rabi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December this year. In the A Moroccan Winter auction, the work Composition sold for MAD 236,160.00 (€ 21,604.95) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdelkébir Rabi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, 2015, which sold at auction in November this year for MAD 721,600.00 (€ 66,087.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abdelkébir Rabi erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Moroccan Winter wurde die Arbeit Composition für MAD 236.160,00 (€ 21.604,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von MAD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdelkébir Rabi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition, 2015 beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für MAD 721.600,00 (€ 66.087,13) versteigert wurde.
