In December 2012 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work An extensive mountainous landscape with a turret on a hill, faggot gatherers at the edge of a forest and a lake in the distance by Abraham Govaerts. It changed hands for a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,915.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Abraham Govaerts have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work A Wooded Landscape With Figures Resting By A Cottage, A Horsedrawn Cart And Herdsmen Nearby was auctioned for EUR 49,500.00.

Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An extensive mountainous landscape with a turret on a hill, faggot gatherers at the edge of a forest and a lake in the distance von Abraham Govaerts zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.915,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
