Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Ships At Sea, Sunrise by Abraham Hulk Jnr.. The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 876.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Hulk Jnr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Albury Heath, Surrey in September 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,055.00 (€ 5,111.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ships At Sea, Sunrise von Abraham Hulk Jnr. zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 687,50 (€ 876,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Hulk Jnr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Albury Heath, Surrey im September 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.055,00 (€ 5.111,95).
