In July 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work A Barn Interior With A Four-Horned Ram And Four Ewes, And A Goat, With A Still Life Of A Basket And Upturned Pots To The Right by Aelbert Cuyp. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 205,250.00 (€ 235,555.08), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aelbert Cuyp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of Dordrecht from the end of the Papendrechtse bank of the river Noord in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 2,866,000.00 (€ 3,079,071.77).

Im Juli 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Barn Interior With A Four-Horned Ram And Four Ewes, And A Goat, With A Still Life Of A Basket And Upturned Pots To The Right von Aelbert Cuyp zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 205.250,00 (€ 235.555,08) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aelbert Cuyp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of Dordrecht from the end of the Papendrechtse bank of the river Noord im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.866.000,00 (€ 3.079.071,77).
