Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art “Reg’Art sur la recherche”, which included the work Prédelle Bleue, 2010 by Agnès Thurnauer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agnès Thurnauer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reflexion, 1999-2000, which sold at auction in April 2009 for EUR 8,288.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art “Reg’Art sur la recherche” durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prédelle Bleue, 2010 von Agnès Thurnauer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Agnès Thurnauer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reflexion, 1999-2000 beobachtet, die im April 2009 für EUR 8.288,00 versteigert wurde.
