The work Trumpets by Agustín Fernández was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2013. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,549.12) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agustín Fernández - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,095.24).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Trumpets von Agustín Fernández kam im Mai 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.549,12) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Agustín Fernández mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 40.320,00 (€ 38.095,24) versteigert wurde.
