Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Metaphorical landscape) by Ahmed Parvez was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,625.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Parvez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,418.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Metaphorical landscape) von Ahmed Parvez wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.625,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Parvez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.418,21).
