Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, 1987 by Ahmed Shahabuddin was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 1,859.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ahmed Shahabuddin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Runner) in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 14,400.00 (€ 11,350.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1987 von Ahmed Shahabuddin kam im Dezember 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.859,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ahmed Shahabuddin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Runner) im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.400,00 (€ 11.350,20).
