Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Aimé Mpane was auctioned at Bonhams in July this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aimé Mpane have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Congolese12 Portraits in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,771.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Aimé Mpane kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aimé Mpane auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Congolese12 Portraits im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.771,10).
