Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Visite by Albert André was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 31,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert André - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nature Morte Et Statue, which sold at auction in March 2013 for USD 137,500.00 (€ 107,287.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Visite von Albert André kam im März 2017 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 31.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert André mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nature Morte Et Statue beobachtet, die im März 2013 für USD 137.500,00 (€ 107.287,77) versteigert wurde.
