Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Kentish Hop Farm, c. 1910 by Albert Henry Fullwood for AUD 1,845.00 (€ 1,100.97). This price was achieved in the auction The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionThe Artist's Eye at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Henry Fullwood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sirius Cove in April 2003 with an auction result of AUD 29,375.00 (€ 14,979.34).
