Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,914.11). Admittedly, works by Albert Jansz. Klomp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A pastoral landscape with a milkmaid milking beside a cottage in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,190.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cattle and sheep resting in a pastoral landscape von Albert Jansz. Klomp wurde im Februar 2011 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.914,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Jansz. Klomp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A pastoral landscape with a milkmaid milking beside a cottage im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.190,05).
