Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Plaine et nuage. 1909. by Albert Schmidt was auctioned at Koller in December 2021. It achieved a price of CHF 18,600.00 (€ 17,967.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Schmidt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Der Träumer, 1912, which sold at auction in March 2005 for CHF 78,000.00 (€ 50,315.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Plaine et nuage. 1909. von Albert Schmidt kam im Dezember 2021 bei Koller zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CHF 18.600,00 (€ 17.967,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24%. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Schmidt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Der Träumer, 1912 beobachtet, die im März 2005 für CHF 78.000,00 (€ 50.315,98) versteigert wurde.
