In April 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Masters Online, which included the work A Capriccio View With Classical Ruins And Christ Blessing A Mother And Child by Alberto Carlieri. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,246.98). Admittedly, works by Alberto Carlieri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Caprices Architecturaux: Apôtres Prêchant Dans Des Ruines Romaines Au Pied D'Un Grand Vase Aux Trois Grâces ; Un Groupe De Bergers Se Réunissant Autour De La Statue De 'Silène Portant Dionysos Enfant' in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 60,750.00.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.246,98) einen neuen Besitzer.
