Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work The Carpet Merchants by Alberto Rosati for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,118.73). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Alberto Rosati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marchands de tapis in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 25,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Carpet Merchants von Alberto Rosati für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.118,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Rosati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marchands de tapis im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.700,00.
