Admittedly, works by Alékos Kondópoulos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 102,500.00 (€ 130,673.02).

Die Arbeit Greek les Gestes Dociles von Alékos Kondópoulos kam im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.446,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alékos Kondópoulos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.500,00 (€ 130.673,02).
