The price achieved of GBP 1,043,500.00 (€ 1,165,682.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro di Mariano Filipepi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Madonna of the Magnificat in November last year with an auction result of USD 48,480,000.00 (€ 46,963,092.12).
