In April 2019 Il Ponte held the auction Arredi e Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Tessuti, Historica, Strumenti Musicali e Disegni. Eredità "Marchese Giambattista Guerrieri Gonzaga" e altre nobili committenze, which included the work Sant'Agostino e il bambino in riva al mare by Alessandro Magnasco. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,000.00 22% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Magnasco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The singing lesson in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 168,000.00 (€ 249,518.78).

Im April 2019 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arredi e Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Tessuti, Historica, Strumenti Musicali e Disegni. Eredità "Marchese Giambattista Guerrieri Gonzaga" e altre nobili committenze durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sant'Agostino e il bambino in riva al mare von Alessandro Magnasco zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.000,00 und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
