Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Bowl by Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,432.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October last year the work without title was auctioned for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,357.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bowl von Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.860,00 (€ 16.432,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.357,72) versteigert.
