Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ethiopian crossroads by Alexander Boghossian was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2018. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,384.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Boghossian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Composition, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 175,075.00 (€ 157,032.02).

Die Arbeit Ethiopian crossroads von Alexander Boghossian kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 56.384,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Boghossian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Composition beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 175.075,00 (€ 157.032,02) versteigert wurde.
