The price achieved of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 111,633.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Joueur d'accordéon is the most expensive artwork by Alexandra Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya that we have observed at auctions so far.
