Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A misty morning by Alexandre Jacob. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,708.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Alexandre Jacob have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Wintertag an der Seine bei Asnières was auctioned for EUR 7,740.00.

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A misty morning von Alexandre Jacob zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.708,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Jacob konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Wintertag an der Seine bei Asnières für EUR 7.740,00 versteigert.
