Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Annales de Pomologie Belge et Etrangere: Six Plates by Alexandre Joseph Désiré Bivort for USD 1,200.00 (€ 904.02). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Alexandre Joseph Désiré Bivort have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2011 by the work Six studies of Pears: Bon Chrétien Napoléon; Ananas; Émilie Bivort; Bon Chrétien Willam's; Beurré Delfosse; and Duc D'Orléans at GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,313.32).

Im Februar 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Annales de Pomologie Belge et Etrangere: Six Plates von Alexandre Joseph Désiré Bivort für USD 1.200,00 (€ 904,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
