Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Uporyadochennoe Shestvie Controlled Procession by Alexei Kostroma was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Russian Art auction at Sothebys in London in February 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,784.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexei Kostroma - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Butterfly With Red Spots, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,240.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Uporyadochennoe Shestvie Controlled Procession von Alexei Kostroma wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Russian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.784,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexei Kostroma mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Butterfly With Red Spots beobachtet, die im März 2008 für GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.240,59) versteigert wurde.
