Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Revellers outside a Parisian tavern by Alexei Alexeevich Arapov for GBP 293.75 (€ 454.36). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexei Alexeevich Arapov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dinner Party in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,176.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Revellers outside a Parisian tavern von Alexei Alexeevich Arapov für GBP 293,75 (€ 454,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexei Alexeevich Arapov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dinner Party im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 39.176,27).
