Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Lily Pond by Alfred Heaton Cooper was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,289.54). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Heaton Cooper - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2010 for SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,614.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Lily Pond von Alfred Heaton Cooper kam im März 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 900,00 (€ 1.289,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Heaton Cooper mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.614,43) versteigert wurde.
