In April 2018 Christies in Milan held the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Sciogliersi Come Neve Al Sole by Alighiero Boetti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 75,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alighiero Boetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutto in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,060,000.00 (€ 5,870,386.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sciogliersi Come Neve Al Sole von Alighiero Boetti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 75.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alighiero Boetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutto im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.060.000,00 (€ 5.870.386,52).
