The price achieved of GBP 358.50 (€ 515.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alix Duval - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Corteggiamento, which sold at auction in December 2003 for EUR 1,612.00.
