Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Three singing angels by Ambrogio Bergognone was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. It achieved a price of USD 138,600.00 (€ 119,979.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ambrogio Bergognone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Madonna And Child, which sold at auction in January 2009 for USD 482,500.00 (€ 376,835.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Three singing angels von Ambrogio Bergognone kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 119.979,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ambrogio Bergognone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Madonna And Child beobachtet, die im Januar 2009 für USD 482.500,00 (€ 376.835,36) versteigert wurde.
