Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Porcelana Y Mar by Ana Mercedes Hoyos was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 87,500.00 (€ 78,482.38). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ana Mercedes Hoyos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bodegón de Palenque, which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 212,500.00 (€ 182,090.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Porcelana Y Mar von Ana Mercedes Hoyos kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 87.500,00 (€ 78.482,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ana Mercedes Hoyos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bodegón de Palenque beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für USD 212.500,00 (€ 182.090,83) versteigert wurde.
