The work The Way to Calvary by Andrea di Bartolo was auctioned at Christies in New York in June last year. The price achieved of USD 630,000.00 (€ 601,776.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Way to Calvary is the most expensive artwork by Andrea di Bartolo that we have observed at auctions so far.
