Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Grapes, a peach, green gages, medlars and a bee on a rockery by Andreas Lach. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,728.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Andreas Lach have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jagdstillleben. in September 2020 with an auction result of CHF 8,750.00 (€ 8,126.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grapes, a peach, green gages, medlars and a bee on a rockery von Andreas Lach zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.728,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andreas Lach auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jagdstillleben. im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 8.750,00 (€ 8.126,49).
