A top price for Andrei Sokolov - as previously expected
The work Saturn On Titan, Circa 1959 by Andrei Sokolov was sold in the Space Exploration auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,519.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Saturn On Titan, Circa 1959 is the most expensive artwork by Andrei Sokolov that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Saturn On Titan, Circa 1959 von Andrei Sokolov wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Space Exploration bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
