Auction result misses estimated price range
In January last year a collector was able to acquire the work Sans Titre - Circa 1925-1930 by Anna Beothy-Steiner for EUR 650.00. This price was achieved in the auction Winter Sale I at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anna Beothy-Steiner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,463.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sans Titre - Circa 1925-1930 von Anna Beothy-Steiner für EUR 650,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Winter Sale I bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Beothy-Steiner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.463,88).
