Upper estimate price exceeded by 34 %.
The work Spring by Grandma Moses was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2020. It achieved a price of USD 40,320.00 (€ 34,408.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grandma Moses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sugaring Off in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 1,360,000.00 (€ 1,025,563.68).
