This artwork by Anne Yeats achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2017. In the Yeats: The Family Collection auction, the work Crayfish sold for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,090.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anne Yeats; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sicilian Traffic Jam sold at auction in September 2017 with the realized price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,345.13).
