Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anthonie Jansz. van der Croos could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings Day Sale auction, the work A Panoramic View Of Rhenen Seen From The South Bank Of The Nederijn, With The Church Of St Cunera changed hands for GBP 13,700.00 (€ 18,615.98) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anthonie Jansz. van der Croos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape With View Of Leiden in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 127,343.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
