Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Artist model, painting II by Anthony Whishaw. It changed hands for a price of GBP 562.50 (€ 680.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Anthony Whishaw have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Still Life in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,045.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Artist model, painting II von Anthony Whishaw zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 680,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthony Whishaw auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Still Life im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.045,26).
