Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Jupiter and Ceres by Antoine-François Callet for USD 4,541.00 (€ 3,728.55). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine-François Callet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of King Louis Xvi In Full Coronation Regalia in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 350,500.00 (€ 267,986.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Jupiter and Ceres von Antoine-François Callet für USD 4.541,00 (€ 3.728,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
