In July 2007 Christies in New York held the auction María Félix: La Doña, which included the work Doña con porcelana by Antoine Tzapoff. The »bidding war« ended at USD 38,400.00 (€ 28,006.71), 54% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Antoine Tzapoff; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Amazona sold at auction in July 2007 with the realized price of USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,136.53).

Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion María Félix: La Doña durch, in der auch die Arbeit Doña con porcelana von Antoine Tzapoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 38.400,00 (€ 28.006,71) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Antoine Tzapoff; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Amazona im Juli 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 48.136,53).
