This artwork by Antoine Tzapoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May 2008. In the Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain auction, the work Le Col de Zibeline sold for EUR 19,450.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine Tzapoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amazona, which sold at auction in July 2007 for USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,136.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antoine Tzapoff erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain wurde die Arbeit Le Col de Zibeline für EUR 19.450,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Antoine Tzapoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amazona beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für USD 66.000,00 (€ 48.136,53) versteigert wurde.
