Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Visitation by Antonio Bellucci was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in April 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,177.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Antonio Bellucci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Triumph of Galatea in October 2003 with an auction result of GBP 38,240.00 (€ 55,853.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Visitation von Antonio Bellucci wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.177,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Bellucci auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Triumph of Galatea im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.240,00 (€ 55.853,00).
