Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Italian i) Return From The Catch Ii) Flowers For Mama by Antonio Ermolao Paoletti for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,576.27). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Antonio Ermolao Paoletti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Young Merchant in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 52,808.99).

Im Mai 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Italian i) Return From The Catch Ii) Flowers For Mama von Antonio Ermolao Paoletti für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.576,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Ermolao Paoletti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Young Merchant im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 52.808,99).
