Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Día de fiesta by Antonio Seguí was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,622.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Antonio Seguí have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Pensar En Todo was auctioned for USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
