The work The Eternal Repose by Arpita Singh was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2007. It achieved a price of USD 253,000.00 (€ 177,930.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Admittedly, works by Arpita Singh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Woman Plucking Flowers in March last year with an auction result of USD 819,000.00 (€ 738,303.43).

Die Arbeit The Eternal Repose von Arpita Singh kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 253.000,00 (€ 177.930,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arpita Singh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Woman Plucking Flowers im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 819.000,00 (€ 738.303,43).
