Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Arpita Singh was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 275,000.00 (€ 252,177.90). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arpita Singh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman Plucking Flowers, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 819,000.00 (€ 738,303.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Arpita Singh kam im September 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 275.000,00 (€ 252.177,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Arpita Singh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman Plucking Flowers beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 819.000,00 (€ 738.303,43) versteigert wurde.
